2/10 – This Week at Roosevelt

Message from the Principal

Thank you to everyone who showed up to Lego Night on Friday night. It was a lot of fun, and as always, the food was delicious!

We have tryouts tomorrow for the second annual Variety Show. A reminder if your child turned in their permission slip, we have a few mandatory sessions:

• Tryouts on Monday, February 10, 2-4:30pm
• Mandatory Rehearsal on Monday, February 24, 2-4:30pm
• Dress Rehearsal on Tuesday, March 10, 1-3:30pm
• Variety Show on Friday, March 13, 5:30pm

The Variety Show will be at the McKinley Auditorium, however all tryouts and rehearsals will be in the Roosevelt cafeteria.

I hope many of you can join me for a Valentines’ Coffee this Friday on February 14 at 8:15am in the cafeteria. I look forward to providing an update on what’s happening at Roosevelt and hear from many of you. As always, this will be a dual-language event in Spanish and English.

I’m sure you already have your calendar marked, but just as a quick reminder, we have a long weekend coming up for Presidents’ Day.

Candygram Fundraiser

Fourth graders are selling candy grams and backpack clips for Valentine’s Day! All earnings help fund their Gold Rush field trip this spring. Order forms went home last week, or print it out here, or pick it up in the school office. Due Wednesday, February 12. Thank you for your support!
