2024 Jog-a-thon is on May 16!
The Jog-a-thon raises much-needed money for the many programs and school upgrades funded by the Roosevelt PTA and is also an opportunity to raise awareness about healthy habits.

2024 DETAILS!
On May 16, 2024, Roosevelt students will participate in our 6th annual Jog-a-thon, the primary annual fundraiser that raises money to pay for the programs funded by the Roosevelt PTA and a new play structure for the upper campus playground!
With your help, we hope to raise approximately $80 per student, which will allow the PTA to continue to pay for the much-needed enrichment programs that are not provided by the school! Without your generous support, these programs would not be possible for our students. Thank you in advance for your support!
How does it work?
Students will run (a few classrooms at a time) for 15 minute around the lower campus field to some rockin’ music, with their friends by their side and their family and staff cheering them on. It is a chance to raise money in a healthy and fun way!
- Date: May 16, 2024
- Time: During school hours. Your child’s individual run time will be available as we get closer to the date in case you want to cheer them on!
- Where: Lower campus field
- Why: Because it is a fun and healthy way to raise money!

How to Raise Money?
- We’ve teamed up with 99Pledges to make this event fun, easy, and a great boost to PTA funding efforts. More details about 99Pledges will be coming soon!
- Please help us by helping your child raise a target total of $80 in donations
Method 1: Easy Online Steps
If you have “opted in” for PTA communication, you will automatically be set up with an online fundraising page and will receive an email on April 16th from the vendor fundraising site 99 Pledges with your child’s personal fundraising page details! Tip: if you can’t find the email, try searching your inbox for “99Pledges”.
Method 2: Set up your Student’s Online Page, if needed
If you are not automatically set up with 99Pledges, follow the instructions on per this link to set up a page: www.99pledges.com/fund/rooseveltp8/addme
Method 3: Donating by cash or check
- Print out copies of these pledge sheets and distribute by mail or in person to your supporters:
- Track your collected pledges with this template
- Donations can be mailed or hand-delivered by pledgers directly to the office (check payable to Roosevelt PTA)
OR collected by the student and tracked by the form in step (2) and then mailed or hand-delivered to the office at:

Jog-A-Thon Prizes
Each student will have the opportunity to be entered into a raffle and win some amazing prizes (all of which are donated to the school!)! Each $20 a student raises will get them 1 additional raffle ticket. The more money raised, the more chances to win!
