This year was great, but next year will be better!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the End of the Year Picnic! It was a great way to celebrate the end of the school year. It’s hard to believe that summer is almost here. As we look back on the beginning of the year, and our first tentative steps back to having all kids on campus, it is amazing to see how far we’ve come. We saw the return of on campus events not to mention the Jogathon and the Variety Show. So many parents and students supported the efforts of the PTA. Together, we send our 5th and 8th graders on trips to outdoor ed and yosemite, brought Zumba, ballet, and girls that run to campus.

The pack is just getting started!

In 2022-23, our primary goal of the PTA will be to build community connections on our campus, to continue to fundraise to improve our campus and programs, and we will work to increase participation of families in the PTA.

Here is some of what we have to look forward to in the new year

  • New playground! Funded in majority via PTA funds, we will bring a  new playground to the upper campus in 2022-23. If you are good with a screw driver or level we will be looking for you as we will build our new playground together as a community!
  • We will try double the number of parents who volunteer for PTA activities
  • We will bring back even more events on campus like Lego night, science night, the school family dance, and more.

We don’t want to promise too much and deliver too little – we need your help to make it all happen! Please sign up in the new year and help us make Roosevelt a better place for all our children.

Help at the water party on Tuesday!

Parents, we need your help! Please help us celebrate reaching our school-wide Jog-a-thon goal and the end of the school year with our Inflatable Obstacle Course and Water Party. We will have each grade level come through the activities to enjoy 20 minutes of fun! We need parents to keep an eye on things, along with helping line the kids up and keeping things safe. Please sign up here if you can help. It will be 10am-2pm on Tuesday, June 7.

We encourage our students to bring a towel and a change of clothes if they are likely to want to change out of damp clothes.

Sign up to volunteer here!

We will need help organizing the SUPER FUN chaos that is sure to come with such a party. We will also need some help with set up and take down. Please come and have fun with our students.
