4/25 This week at Roosevelt / Esta semana a Roosevelt

• Jogathon Committee – for being such a wonderful team, working together and doing your part to complete all of the pieces of this puzzle
• Students and Families – for the amazing fundraising efforts to help replenish our funds so the PTA can continue to provide programming and improve our campus
• Staff and Administration – for promoting and encouraging students to try their best in fundraising towards our goals and to have fun at the event!
• Volunteers – for making sure the event ran smoothly and efficiently and encouraging our students
• Sponsors – for providing all of the funds we need to get this event off the ground so that all of our fundraised dollars can go directly into our school
• Marni Sloves (our Art teacher) – for aiding and guiding our students to submit their wonderful and creative artwork for our t-shirt contest
• PE+ Coaches – for leading the students in warm ups and running and cheering along side to motive the kids

• Raffle Prize Donors – for being so generous, and motivating our students to put their best efforts into fundraising. Specifically a big thank you to our School Family donors for being so thoughtful and generous to our future raffle winners.

AND SPEAKING OF THE RAFFLE….

Due to the weather issues last week, 8th grade was forced to delay their car wash fundraiser. In light of that, we decided to extend our deadline for funds that count towards raffle tickets. If you have any last minute money or weren’t able to get your money in last week, please bring it in by this Thursday. We will be doing the raffle next Friday and will announce the winners in next Sunday’s newsletter, with prizes distributed the following week. The school is so close to their $50,000 goal! (Also, don’t forget to come this Thursday, 2pm-3pm to get your car washed by 8th grade! $10/car, enter at the Vera gate)Thank you Roosevelt Community! Go Raccoons! (edited)
