World’s Finest Chocolate…
This is the last full week for the World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser! If every Roosevelt family sells just 1 box of chocolate, our school would earn almost $20,000 which would cover the cost of almost 2 Chromebook carts. Please turn in your money by Friday, October 9.
Donors Choose…
Ms. Knudson, Roosevelt’s new 8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher has an active Donors Choose Project called “Reading is Cool!” She has reached $220.93 out of the $1018 needed to purchase two air conditioners for her 8th grade classroom. If your family can help out a bit, we could help her project succeed and bring these resources to our school.

Direct Donations…
The monthly reminders will be going out soon to families for the $150 yearly pledge to the Roosevelt Enrichment Fund.
Without parent donations, our PTA wouldn’t be able to support the wonderful enrichment opportunities available at Roosevelt such as Art 4 All, free weekly chess lessons, the Girls on the Run program, SMART Boards in more classrooms, field trip support, classroom supplies, school garden supplies, and more!
Checks can be made out to Roosevelt PTA. The PTA also accepts credit cards. Stop by the office or send your pledge in an envelope to school with your child and be sure to include your child’s name and room number. Anyone that gives $150 will get a special green t-shirt that your child may wear as uniform, a gift bag and a chance to win an iPad Mini! (Drawing will be held at the November PTA meeting.)
