Jog-a-thon updates
Volunteers Needed!
Are you interested in helping with the Jog-a-thon? Complete this form: Jog-a-thon Volunteer – Google Forms. Please note that all on-campus volunteers will need to be approved through the district. Make sure to get approved as soon as possible! Steps on how to get approved (Level 1) can be found here: Volunteer – Redwood City School District (rcsdk8.net)
Jog-a-thon – Prizes needed
We are working hard to offer some great prizes for the Jog-a-thon, but we need your help! Are you willing to donate a gift card or experience that our students might like? Please help us make the Jog-a-thon an exciting experience for all the kids. Contact Emily Schannep (emily@roosevelt-pta.com) if you are able to help us build the prize booty.
Jog-a-thon – T-shirt contest
Here is everything you need to know about the Jog-a-Thon t-shirt design contest. Do you have a budding artist in the family? Get them ready to show us their best hand-drawn design of “The Pack is Back!” The winning design will be printed on the Jog-a-Thon event t-shirts! Students should submit their original design to their teacher and/or the main office no later than noon on Friday, March 18 to be included in the judging. Encourage them to show us their vision for this year’s design, and to start drawing and get involved today!
Packets for fundraising will be headed home soon. Keep an eye out!
Girl Scout Cookies – yum!
Girl Scout Cookies!
If you missed the in-person sale last week, you can still get your cookies by ordering online! This easy method will support our Roosevelt troops and you can get your orders hand delivered by the girls in the troop, or get the cookies shipped directly to you from the bakery.
Supply chain issues have impacted inventory so get them in-person while you can, and order for shipping through 3/27. Shipping promotions of $1.10 (3/11-3/12) and free shipping (3/25-3/27) make it easy to stock up before they’re gone.
The 2nd grade Brownie troop has cookies here
And the 3rd/4th grade Brownie/Junior troop here
We appreciate your support!
