Message from the Principal
Dear Roosevelt Families,
I hope you had (or are having) a wonderful long weekend. It is a nice chance to take a breather after an exciting but hectic start to the new school year.
Despite being a short week, we have a lot going on. On Thursday morning, we have our first Coffee with the Principal at 8:30am, and on Friday morning, also at 8:30am, we have a Cafecito con la Directora, which will be primarily in Spanish. Thursday night is also Back to School Night. All the links to these events and many more items of interest, are in this week’s Raccoon Reporter.
A quick reminder that Thursday and Friday are both minimum days next week. Students get out at 1:15pm (1st & 2nd grades) and 1:35pm (3rd-8th grades) on both days. Kindergarten schedule remains unchanged with a regular Early Bird/Later Gator dismissal.
I hope to see you with coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) in hand on Thursday or Friday morning.
Warmly,
Tina
