Come to this week’s PTA Meeting (Tuesday at 6pm in Room 14) to meet Zoe Pantera, our Education Outside instructor. She’ll be giving an overview of the program and her plans for the year.
About Education Outside
Education Outside advances science education and environmental literacy by teaching outdoors in public schools. We spark children’s interest in science and connect them to the natural world through hands-on learning in school gardens. This school year, Education Outside is serving 17,500 public elementary school students in the Bay Area, with 65% of these students coming from low-income families. Our program is in 44 public schools in San Francisco, and two schools in Redwood City.
