This is a paid position. If you are interested, please contact Gwen in the school office. You will have to fill out an application with the district and get fingerprinted.

Backpacks…
Roosevelt has received a donation of backpacks from PCC. If you need a new backpack for your child, please contact the office.

Uniforms…
If your family is in need of uniform assistance, please contact the office.

On the Parent Blog…
Please make sure to bookmark the parent blog. Any updates or corrections to the weekly email/blog post are made on the blog, so it will be your most accurate source of information.  www.rooseveltparents.com

Roosevelt Enrichment Fund…
If you didn’t turn in a donation or pledge form at MAZE day, you can still turn one in.  The PTA is asking each family to contribute $150 per child for the school year. You can sign up for a monthly contribution for as little as $15 per month.

Checks can be made out to Roosevelt PTA. The PTA also accepts credit cards. Please stop by the office or send your pledge forms in an envelope to school with your child. Thank you for supporting the extra curricular programs at Roosevelt! Anyone that gives $150 will get a special green tshirt that your child may wear as uniform, a gift bag and a chance to win an iPad Mini!

Donation Matching…
If you want to make a donation or have already made a donation to Roosevelt’s Enrichment Fund, please make sure to check with your company’s HR department to see if they offer donation matching to 501c non-profit organizations.

Art for this year…
We’re excited to announce that for the fourth year, the PTA is sponsoring art for all grades through a program called Arts4All. This program provides an art teacher to each class to teach lessons throughout the year. The students will be learning basic art techniques as well as studying art masters. This program wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations by our families to the PTA.

After School Sports…
Roosevelt’s After School Sports Program is a year-round, school-based sports program that is provided by the Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department.

Registration forms and complete registration information can be found at www.teamsideline.com/redwoodcity along with all of the information regarding After School Sports. You can also register online at https://apm.activecommunities.com/rwcpark

Don’t Forget…
Make sure to put your child’s name on any sweaters, sweatshirts or jackets that they bring to school.  The Lost and Found was overflowing with unmarked jackets and sweaters last year that could have been returned if a student’s name had been on the tag.
