Great Kindness Challenge…
At Roosevelt School we have an anti-bully policy, and this year we will be having the Oscar Bully performance by Theatre Works on February 24th. Bullies are not kind, so we are approaching anti-bullying from a different stance and will participate school wide  in Great Kindness Challenge  from January 27th – 31st .

During this week all students and staff are encouraged to do acts of kindness to promote positive behavior and strengthen our school community.

Teachers received ready-made kits with kindness checklists, posters, kindness cards on which students can record acts of kindness and bracelets.  Our teachers and staff have been encouraged to participate alongside the students to encourage their involvement.

The 4th Graders have also organized school-wide lunchtime activities to help all students perform acts of kindness. Activities include card making, friendship bracelets and a kindness movie day.

4th Grade students visited each classroom to explain The Great Kindness Challenge last Friday.
